Membership to the Federation is divided into 3 categories. Membership requires payment of an Annual Membership fees which is indicated for the various types of memberships.

This is a partner institution to the African Federation for the Gifted and Talented (AFGT). They have AFGT approved software and machines to carry out screens and full Gift and Talent Testing assessment.

Affiliate Members do further have approved and exclusive department for Gift and Talent Services, with commensurate rooms to provide for Gift and Talent Tests. Affiliates DO NOT pay membership fees.

This is an institution that receives on behalf of the federation persons needing Gift and Talent Testing and does preliminary screens with the Federation’s support and supervision.

Such members may not have machines and software for Gift and Talent Testing, but provided with basic kits from the federation in order to be able to perform basic prognosis. This is, for example, like a hospital‘s basic procedures e.g. obtaining temperature and pressure at a clinic reception before seeing a doctor. A membership fee of USD 30 is charged annually for this membership.

This refers to individuals with interest to services related to Gift and Talent Testing. They would usually be students or adults interested in research or services related to gifted education.

Far from benefiting from discounted rates for Gift and Talent Testing, they also get concessions or discounts to conferences and Federation literature, among other benefits. A membership fee of USD 10 is charged annually for this membership. This refers to individuals with interest to services related to Gift and Talent Testing. They would usually be students or adults interested in research or services related to gifted education.

How to become a member

Application for membership is done online by sending an email to the Federation and attaching your profile or CV. You must indicate the correct membership type so that it is processed under the appropriate category.

Once the application is received, it will be processed and if approved, you will be notified and listed. A certificate of Membership will also be issued.

Renewing Membership

Applying for membership is a one-time process. In subsequent years, your membership status is maintained by simply paying the annual membership fee.
